Book One - MISPLACED

What if the opportunity to rewrite history was standing right in front of you?

In 2181 BC, Khara, daughter of Pepy II, stands on the brink of becoming Egypt's first woman pharaoh—until betrayal shatters her world, forcing her into exile through time itself. Cast into the vast deserts between the U.S. and Mexico, Khara believes she's fallen into the underworld—until she meets Victoria Barrón, a modern-day attorney with a guarded heart and an unflagging sense of purpose.

Their quest take them through cursed lands, forgotten legends, and the shadowy edges of history—testing the strength of friendship, the weight of destiny, and the cost of sacrifice. As an eclipse opens a portal back to Khara's time, the questions lingers: Can the past be saved with losing the future?

Artifact Watch

Artifact Watch explores the real stories behind ancient objects, stolen treasures, repatriated artifacts, and archaeological mysteries still unfolding today. For readers who love history, danger, and the secrets objects carry, this is where the past keeps speaking.

More than 3,900 years after it was created, this remarkable artifact has finally returned home.
After a year-long investigation, Cyprus has successfully reclaimed an ancient ceramic vessel dating to approximately 1900 B.C.
The engraved black-polished bowl was discovered in the possession of a collector in Canada after Cypriot officials monitoring online auctions traced its whereabouts.
Researchers from Cyprus' Department of Antiquities confirmed the vessel's age and origin before it was voluntarily returned to its homeland.

Four Hawaiian cultural artifacts held for decades by the Martha's Vineyard Museum are returning home to Hawaii.
The items—including a traditional canoe, poi pounder, tapa cloth, and grass skirt—will be repatriated following a request from a Native Hawaiian cultural organization.
These objects are more than artifacts. They are connections to heritage, identity, and tradition. Every artifact tells its own story. Sometimes the most important story is the one about going home.
Right now, Amazon KDP does not offer a dedicated Latine/LatinX category, making it harder for readers to discover our stories and for our community to grow.
I’m calling on fellow authors, especially Latina/e/o and Latine writers, to join me in asking KDP to create a category that reflects our voices and experiences.
Representation matters. Discoverability matters. Our stories matter.
